Description

19th century Victorian brass inkstand in the form of a pair of inkwells on shaped bases with a horseshoe between. The horse shoe has projecting nail decoration forming a pen rest or rack to hold 3 pens or pencils.
With the original glass liners, this is a very functional and interesting design, of particular interest to the equestrian enthusiast.
Size-9.5 inches long by 4.25 inches wide by 4.25 inches high.
The base is covered with the original baize lining.
Silver pencil showing in photos is not included, and is for sale separately.
This is a lovely and functional accessory for a desk or table, in very good condition.
